Massey secures 222 Willis, plans to use it for senior student accommodation

Massey University has announced they have secured the lease of the 222 Willis student accommodation buildings, with plans to offer accommodation to second year students and up.

The building will offer 2 bedroom, 4 bedroom and studio apartments for Massey students and, if there is room, for other tertiary institutions, according to Residential Operations Manager Priscilla Brooking.

The building was previously used as student accommodation for students across the Wellington region, including Massey University, Victoria University of Wellington, WelTec and Whitireia. 

“A webpage will be created today with prices and payment plans clearly available, and our portal will be ready to take applications from 4pm,” Brooking said in an email to staff earlier today. 

The building offers heating, common areas and a pastoral care team that will live onsite.
